All, When inspecting an LMT MRP Barrel today, I noticed some "rust" developing around the base of a permanently attached Phantom Flash-Hider. Any worries here? And any suggestions for treating this condition? Any advice is appreciated.

scrub it off and oil it.
or, scrub it off, degrease and re-park it.
or, scrub it off, degrease and Gunkote, Duracoat etc.
