Ok, here's my very last stupid question regarding the SureFire M73 handguards...

I got my handguards installed without any problems.  They are rock solid and tight.  My only concern is the gap at the bottom between the lower rail and the handguard cap.  It seems to be around the 1/4" mark(maybe smaller, but not by much).  Is this normal?

I followed the post about not over tighening, but the gap seems a little excessive.  Does anyone have a photo of their AR with the M73 rail mounted that shows the gap?  Maybe I'm too neurotic.

Thanks,
Gary

Here is mine with the same gap.  It is normal because the lower rail is naturally pushed away from the handguard cap as the set screws are tightened.
