How do I confirm my Colt 4 POS collapsable stock is really a Colt?

I bought it from a local dealer that I did a lot of business with so it should be genuine but I am considering selling it and I just want to be sure it is what I advertise it to be.  Anyone know what the going price of these are??

is it the older car type stock or the newer ribbed version? If its the older type look under the latch you should see N and 1..that is a colt.

if it's a newer M4 type 2 it will have a straight 90 degree angle in front of the latch where as other M4 stocks have that area curved.  Also on the left side of the stock body there will be 3 little dots in the recess area and the latch itself should be smooth and not textured.

Like stated above if it's an older type 1 it will have a N and 1 near the latch, you will have to pull down on the latch to see the 1 and push up on the latch to see the N and that will be on the right side of the body

price for a new complete Type 2 is around $100-$125

price for a used complete type 1 and I'm not 100% on this but probably around $60
