| What is the barrel diameter of a heavy barrel and a standard barrel? |
|
I'm not trying to be smartass, but it depends on your definition of "standard" and "heavy". There is light weight/super light, government profile, M4 profile,HBar and bull. LW is about .565-.570, government profile is .675-.625, M4 which has several OD measurements, but at the FSB is .750, IIRC. HBAR is the same, except it's .750 down the length of the barrel. TS |

It's basicly a fluted HBAR. Some have the M4 cut in the front, some don't. If your's doesn't have the spot without flutes, it's a fluted HBAR. If it doesn't it's still basicly the same, except for the small M203 step down in front of the front sight base. I hope this helped. TS |
Tell him it's a Mike Rock barrel. Those are great barrels that they put on the POF's. You're getting a $350 to $450 barrel on the POF's. TS |
