Hi,

new here (just bought my first AR)

Has anyone seen these from olympic?
Tried them?

Does anyone else make pneumatic buffers?

I don't think I really need it but it seems like it might be cool

How are they with recoil reduction?

Are the standard weighted buffers better at recoil reduction?

Just wonderin.

They reduce recoil very well.

So that replaces the enitre pring and everything right?  No more of the spring noise?

Yeah, it replaces the whole assembly inside the buffer tube I believe.
They state on the website that they don't have the leakage problems of other pneumatic models.

I am just wondering how they compare to some of the high dollar weighted buffers.  I don't mind the cost of either.  I just want the most control over my rifle for the money.

you still have to use the spring with it................it is not a replacement only you NEED the spring with it

sledge41,

WRONG, you do not use the buffer spring with the OlyArms Pneumatic Buffer.  Oly's unit is self contained and you replace ALL regular buffer parts (buffer & spring).  It only works on A2 style buffer tubes and WILL NOT work with collapsible stocks.  Units like the Enidine need a spring as they replace the buffer only.  This information comes off OlyArms web site.
