Have Colt's collapsable stocks always had milspec buffer tubes? I bought a "Colt" CAR stock some time ago from R-Guns. It came in an unmarked plastic bag. Hmm, seemed strange. I didn't think too much about it at the time. Now I bought a couple M4 stocks from Tick . . . low and behold they fit on the "Colt" buffer tube. I didn't expect them to as I thought all Colt stocks had milspec tubes. Now I'm curious if R-Guns took me for a ride? I wouldn't be too suprised from what I've seen about R-Guns since then. Fool me once . . . shame on them . . . it won't happen again.hanks, Slugger |

edited...I finally re- read the post and understood what was going on.... yup...mighta got snookered on that one.....unless someone sent you mil spec stocks by accident.... ETA2: are the stocks you ordered loose or firm. If they are pretty loose and "rattley" then you are PROBABLY running a mil spec tube..... |
