I have a Colt HBAR that locks open with Q3131a, but not with loads like BH 75gr match. Has anyone else had a similar issue with heavy barrel rifles?

Its called short stroking and is usually caused by a gas leak... Check to see if the bolt carrier gas key is leaking... Also inspect the FSB to see if it is loose and the gas rings on the bolt for cracked or missing rings...

I would suspect that ammo before the rifle. Bet that BH smmo has a light charge of stick powder.
