Greetings: I would like to build a target rifle, range will be 700 yards max. For the .223 I currently reload for my DCM rifle, PSS and SP-1 (overkill) I am debating between the RRA (Wilson Barrel), DMPS (Wilson) Fulton (Douglas barrel), Model 1 (ER Shaw) Which manufacturer provides barrels for JT Dist and M-APARTS? Please advise Thank you ACK |

Hi Hylander7 I am in So CA (Whittier) Thanks for the link on the Oly. I'll take into consideration. UVvis. I currently reload Sierra 69 or 77 SMK or the Hornady 68 Match. Some day I'll try their 75 Gr. I enjoy killing iron "chickens", not many quadped varmints out here eklikwhoa. Thanks JT as a supplier have a good reputation in this website. Hylander7 which twist are you planning to get? it looks like the std is 1:10 the 1:8 (my preference) is a special order. |
Out of all those makers you mentioned, all are standard grade barrels except for the Fulton using a Douglas barrel. I specialize in accurate barrels and I am here in So Calif as well. I can build you ANY configuration you want as far as length, twist, profile or gas system. Complete uppers start around $750 with a flattop reciever with freefloat handguard and low profile gas block. |
