I just recieved a trigger that has one of the legs, that stick out the rear of the trigger, just past the area for the disconnecter spring is missing. It only has one leg back there and it looks to be made that way, no signs of it being cut off. IS THIS an M-16 trigger or is it OK to use in a AR build? Any help is appreciated. |

I guess I got a M-16 trigger. It is like the M-16 trigger in Wizzo's pic, but one leg is not on it. That's what I get for buying something you can't see, I needed a LPK and now I need a disconnect, disconnect spring, magazine catch spring, and trigger. I'm not too keen on the trigger and hammer pins. Oh, and Shootersden, the standard size pins fit this trigger, so I don't think it's a Colt large pin, Thanks guys. |
I wouldnt lose hope just yet... Look at what Spooge5150 posted... That diagram shows what you have described and it looksa to be AR15 ETA, If I didnt have dial-up, I might of beat you |

That's great, Thanks for the input to all. Saves me buying a trigger and I think I can force myself into using the pins. Do any of you have any idea why the disconnector would have been ground on at the front, where it meets the flat spot on the trigger. If the disconnector is usable then all I will need is a couple of springs. |

No, this is on the front, it doesn't look like the tail has been touched at all. In Spooge5150's pic, where the part#4 is pointing, the flat on the bottom of the nose has been ground on. The only thing I can see is it allows the disconnector to rock a tad bit farther to the front, I have never seen one ground on in that spot. |
That part was messed with and is not normal for a new disconnect... Someone adjusted it because it was double firing... Stay safe, throw it away and buy a new one... They are inexpensive so dont worry about the cost... |
