Can I have my chrome lined barrel cut back and have a a2 flashider put on it to bring it up to the 16 inch length? I heard chrome lined barrels cant be cut.

Some Smith's will not do it because the chrome has been known to start to flake where it was cut.

there are a lot of dealers/gunsmith's here that do it all the time with no ill effects.
i sent mine to adco and they did a wonderful job.
check them out in the industry forum, they have threads where people have submitted photos of shortened barrels along.

No problem. The chrome will not "flake", as it is not that kind of process.
