[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR bolt markings

I have two Colt-made ARs, one with the standard "MPC" etched on the bolt.
The second is marked "MPYC," with the "Y" underlined. Anyone know what this is?

The "Y" is some type of date code designator, IIRC.
