I am looking to build a rifle, I am going to use a Del-Ton M4 kit.  I am looking for lower recommendations.  I am currently considering the Stag from AIM, any others to consider or stay away from.

Thanks

Stag, Mega, Ameetec, LAR, Bushmaster, DPMS, CMMG are all good.
I like LAR and CMMG.

I have an ASA lower, and cosmetically, it is the best i've seen.  I know they have a bad reputation here,  but their lowers are top notch.

+ 1 for STAG (or should I say +2?  I've built up 2 STAG lowers and they were both nice)

I have two Colts and a LMT lower. I just completed one of my stripped Colt lower build.

I'm seriously considering a Stag lower for my next project, I already have a Stag LPK.

In other words, just about any of the currently produced lowers will get the job done.  In fact, as I think back on the postings I've seen over the past 3 years, the number of people commenting on problems w/new lowers has dropped dramatically.

I got an out of spec (though functional) DPMS piece a few years back, but the one I got last year was just fine.  You'll occasionally see a posting from someone who has a problem with an Olympic piece; usually a tight magazine well.

That's about it in recent times, so get the the piece you can acquiure for the best price, and enjoy
