Saw Sales, Armament Services Inc., KY Imports, Hoplite Inc. but unless you are in a real big hurry, The EE is your best bet

Thanks cgv69!

Made the links hot going to the above referenced sites

No Website found for
Hoplite Inc

I received a price quote for a Colt  M4A3 upper receiver only from Armament Services Inc and here is what they sent back, "M4A3  RECEIVER WITH EJECTION PORT DOOR ASSY AND FORWARD ASSIST  IS 250.00"

I knew the Colts were going to be slighlty higher but not that high...

Look on the EE board. See them frequently for under $200. Might be used but they come in all grades.

Sorry, I was in a hurry when I posted that and didn't have time to provide links. Here is a link to another on-going thread for Colt parts...

Who sells Colt parts besides SAW and Brownell's?

As you are already seeing, Colt parts are not cheap. There is really nothing special about Colt uppers so unless you are working on a special project that has to have a genuine Colt receiver, I'd save the money and buy a CMT (who I think makes (machines) Colt's upper anyway)

Funny thing about Colt. They are the only AR maker that is cheaper to buy a complete rifle from them then it is to try and piece one together using only their parts (in most cases)

As was already said, check the EE for your best deals. If you don't find a stripped receiver in the condition\price range you want. Look for complete uppers. Buy one of those and sell off all the parts you don't need for normal going rates. I bet if you do it that way, you will get the receiver you want for well under $200.
