Looks like an Airsoft version. Still works great on AR's and they are under $15 NIW. I said LOOKS LIKE an Airsoft version because of the cap screw tightening to the rail.

It's a pretty nice VG if you like aluminum. I have this VG but I don't use it much because I like the TD better. But it's a solid piece of equipment.

I don't use VG's anymore but when I did, I preferred the ones that could be installed/removed without tools.
