I need a good quality barrel as follows:

M4 Profile
14.5"
5.56
Chrome-Lined
M4 Ramps/Bbl Ext
1:7 preferred, but will consider 1:9
Cost that won't break the bank?

I know COLT & LMT, are there any others?  Looking for something in the $200-225 range.

You won't find either of those two companies selling barrels at that price.

CMMG does NOT offer the M4 barrel Ext. at this time.

Oh, I missed that he wanted the M4 extension.

No worries. They really are not needed anyway (unless running full auto) so I wouldn't rule out a barrel just because it didn't have them.

When your receiver has the ramps already, you don't have much choice.

I thought CMMG was already offering the M4 barrel extension, or that it was in the near future going to be an option.  Real ones too, not Dremeled ones.

ETA: he never specified what type of receiver he had, so he might be fine w/o the M4 extension.

I specifically stated M4 Ramps/Bbl Ext in the original post.  My receiver has M4 ramps in it, therefore I need a barrel with M4 ramps.

Sorry, I didn't realize you'd made the second post.  From your original  post I thought it might just be a HSLD feature you wanted.  All clear now.

No problem, just seems I'm getting more questions than answers.
