Who is the Combined AF mark?  Is on an A2 upper I have just ahead of the sight.

Thanks!

Colt forging from Alcoa Forge?  It's been awhile since I looked up stuff like this, but I think it's Alcoa.

The AF is Alcoa Forge

The "C" makes it Colt

Without the "C" it is'nt a Colt,

As with other Raw forgings, they are all used by most of the manufacturers, It's the machining process that really matters and who did the machining

I have an A1 upper I just built (true A1, not C7 or Colt slabside) with an "L" and an "M" in the scallop below the rear sight drum on the right side.  It's like the Colt A1 upper I have, but Colt has "C" and "M" on it.

I can't think of an AR maker with an "L."  Anyone else have a clue?  Thanks.

Nevermind, found it at biggerhammer.  It is a LAR/Martin Marietta upper.
