Howdy!
Rookie here... I've been hanging out here for a while now reading all I can about triggers and would like a little input from the pro's.
The stock trigger on my AR is stiff as a board and would like to upgrade. From all I have heard the Jewell is the way to go but i'm not sure. Most of my shooting is Coyote and Varmint shooting rather than the match shooting most of you talk about. Single stage or Two stage? (Does anyone know what the trigger pull wieght is on my stock trigger?) Any input would be most appreciated.
Thanks!!!

Stock is anywhere between 5.5 to 9.5lbs on an M16A2 and M4.

I have an Accuracy Speaks trigger in my "duty" M4 and an ArmaLite 2-stage another rifle.  Had both for several years (both rifles pre-date 1994) with no issues.  These are the only two I recommend.

The standard trigger will usually get better with age.

I like the single stage JP. They give you a clean 3.5# pull. The new drop in Chip McCormick is said to be good as well but I've got no personal experience with them. Maybe someone here can give you low down.
