[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Postban Colt Commando clone?

Looking to get a Colt Commando clone as my next upper.

Problem is the uppers I've seen are all "No-ban" configuration, and I'm in State with its own AWB.

Does anyone know a maker or dealer (outside of Model 1 Sales!) that has these uppers in a postban config. OR that just sells a 5.5 fake flash hider so I can have one built?

That's a tough one.
How about getting the fake 5.5" FH from ModelOne,
and mount it on a different barrel?

OA used to have a heavy barrel SS 16" with a 5.5" FS that was mounted over the barrel. It looked like the real thing until you looked close and figured the slots didn't go all the way through. The FS isn't functional because it doesn't extend past the barrel. IT has the niceness of giving you a 16" SS (very accurate) barrel, with the XM look.
