What exactly does it do and how many of you find it to be an important feature?

It locks the Harris swivel bipod so it doesn't swivel.

Where do we find this device?

Does it have a feature that allows one to unlock it without removing the device?

yes, it's a lever you turn way way to lock it and the other way to unlock it

 Does it work well?

I was having a problem yesterday at the range with the rifle always angling left after I took a shot, if this Pod-Loc really works I will definitely buy one.

I really don't need the swivel function at all since the legs are adjustable and can serve the same purpose, I wish there was a way to lock it solid permanently.

On a regular Harris swivel bipod there is a thumb screw to tighten the swivel mechanism. The Pod-Loc is just a lever that replaces the thumb screw that allows you to tighten and loosen it much more effectively.

I used a Harris bipod without a Pod-Loc for about 5 minutes before I decided to put the Pod-Loc on. It helps a lot.

So Sigurd, basically it would be the same as using a pair of Vice Grips to tighten up the thumb screw?  All the Pod-loc does is add leverage to the mechanism?

they're good stuff, get one today!

I would shoot anyone who tried to take my Pod-Loc away!  Period.

I've been using one for 4 years; I finally was able to stop carrying a f*cking pair of pliers with me while I shot my PSS.  It makes adjusting the bipod swivel so easy it's stupid - and I know stupid.

Get one and be happy for evermore.

Yep, that's it.

Only you don't need vise grips to loosen it back up.

There is a built in adjustment on the Pod-Loc so you can position the lever how you want.

Oh my.  Did I pay $26 for one of those?  What about the large bushing, where can I get that (it comes with the pod loc)?

I have not tried the Nut-Locker (although sounds like a painful bondage piece), but I do have 3 harris bipods with the Pod-Loc.  They are great.  Terry Cross (KMW Precision) is the manufacturer and an excellent shooter.  I think he has won every sniper/precision rifle event he has entered this year.   He is great to do business with, and I would highly recommend him.

They both work the same. The one I sell is all steel and weighs 1.5oz more than the pod-loc.

Mine required no bushing.  Only an extra washer.
