Ordered two A3 uppers, one fits fine, the other sticks a little bit at the pivot pin. WTF. Does it need to be shipped back or sanded and re-anodized?

I know that an Bushy upper tends to be tight in an RRA lower, but most confess that RRA uppers fit well in RRA lowers.  Maybe you are the first to find a tight fit with this combo.

BTW, some here have had to use mallets and files to get the Bushy uppers to fit in the RRA lowers.

I would'nt worry about it if it "sticks a little bit".  Better to have the snuggness than to have a sloppy fit.  There is a tolerance that must be held when all the machining is done to the forgings.  If the upper is on the + side of the tolerance and the lower is on the - side of the tolerance, they may have a slight interferance fit, even though they are both within spec.

Shoot 'em a bit.  I'll bet you they'll break in and you'll have a very solid fit.  Those tolerances can only get looser from this point on.

What i mean is, when you move the upper receiver up and down, it sticks a little on the lower where the pivot pin is, and is rubbing the finish off of the lower and upper.
