[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ARMS 45M

Hello all I have a question on the arms 45M. I currently have a bushy SBR 10.25 barrel, I have a free floating rail system in place now and dont like it. I'm going to remove it and replace it with the 45M. Now here's the catch, I know that with the 45M I dont need my delta ring, it doesn't have one anyway. But does any body know if I need the hand guard cap? cuz I aint got one. hinking.gif

Only if you want one. "They" say it helps to keep dust/branches/crap out of the inside of the forearm but that realy isn't and issue with the S.I.R because the bottom is removable. I prefer not to have one. YMMV.

FWIW, I had to cut mine off when I put on my SIR, because it was loose on the barrell. Rattled something fierce.

I left my cap on cause it was tight.

Still is.
