hey all,
Let me preface this by saying that I DID do a search to try to find as much info as possible.  Anyway, I'ma thinkin' of gittin a couple lowers so I have something to play with on Sept 14th.  Now I know all about the "ABC's" and the RRA.  BUT, does anyone know or have any direct experience with the LRB, LMT or Mega lowers?  I've read a couple of comments about how the Mega's are "great for the price" etc.  But, price not counting, how are they?  How would a Mega compare to a Bushy, RRA etc?  As far as parts compatability are there any "issues"?  If the Mega's (Or LRB's Or LMT's) are made to the same specs as, say, a Bushy I might as well get one (Heck, almost two for the price of one BM).  Would I be sacrificing anything?

Thanks guys
Rich

I've built 2 Megas and I cannot see any QC problems. I feel they are just as good as the ABCs.
They went togeother with no problems and they run very well. The finish is really good on 1 and is a bit soft on the other. You will be happy if you buy one.

The two Mega lowers that I bought are perfect in every way and IMHO are  better than the more expensive Bushmaster lowers in fit and finish.  I also picked up a PWA (made by LMT) lower from RB Precision and it is an extremely nice lower too.  I don't think you can go wrong with any forged lower.

Thanks.  Also, how do the Ameetec lowers figure in?  What is the fit like on the Mega and Ameetec?  Is it tight like the RRA?

Thanks

I built several Stag Arms lowers.  I am happy with all of them.
