I'm wanting to purchase a new Bushmaster Varminter (Part # PCWVMS 24FVAR9) and would like to know about scope mounting options. I will be putting a Nikon (Monarch UCC Scope 6.5-20x44 AO Black Matte Fine Crosshair) scope on this gun. I would like to use the A.R.M.S. #22 Throw Lever rings. However since this scope is a 1" tube, I think I will need the A.R.M.S. #37 Ring Inserts. With this said, here are my questions: 1) What height rings will work with the Nikon scope listed above? Also, do you guys recommend the A.R.M.S. rings or something better? How secure are 1" #37 ring inserts within the #22 Throw Lever Rings? 2) I would also like to place a Harris Bipod on this Bushy (part # HE-002). I'm assuming this is the swiveling Bipod (LS model)? With that said, if I do need an adapter, which adapter do I need to mount the Bipod on the Bushy? Thank you for any help. I would like to get everything ordered correctly the first time around. If there is anything else I have left out that will prevent me from a complete buildout, please provide information. |
