You can't. I've gathered (haven't started a thread yet) that the newest board code doesn't allow anyone to delete a thread. It's now saved forever. The best thing would be get a mod/staff to lock the thread so it can sink into oblivion. Or just let it stay as is and eventually it'll fade away. |
If it was from the buffer retainer, the wear marks would be around the very edge of the buffer. I think Paul has a pic on his website from his Hesse lower. Lemme look... This is bad, m'kay? It isn't unusual for the face of the buffer to have some wear from the bolt carrier, especially if there is any roughness or burrs on the rear of the BC. It won't hurt anything. -Troy |

Just got home from work. I apologize for the picture test I can't delete. I thought I could delete it like before. This buffer marks was caused by a new bolt carrier with the rough edges. Sanded the edges down and no more marks on my buffer. Posted this problem before on the troubleshooting tread about a month ago. Problem solved. Sorry again guys. 556man

No accuwedge. After I sanded the edges of the back of the carrier, I then sanded the face of the buffer till' the marks are gone. Looks new again and no more marks after firing it. 556man |
