Is a Mini Y Comp easily removed from a post ban barrel? I know it is pinned, but how is the weld?

It is removable, but not easily.  I sent mine to Kurt's Kustom Firearms (look in the Industry section of this website), he took off that vicious little Mini-Y comp and installed a very nice, functional A-2 style muzzlebrake.

Kurt's work is top-notch and he is a nice guy to do business with.

Bushmaster says to use Loctite 680, then pin the brake.  Loctite 680 has a shear strength of 4000 psi.
