I wouldn't worry about it either, but, you asked why they wouldn't, not whether or not it's currently an issue. The reason they won't guarantee a "fit" w/ RRA is because for a while the RRA uppers were not close enough to spec. to allow the SIR's top rail to properly mount to the RRA upper receiver. Having said that, I don't believe it's an issue any longer. /S2 |

The bilevel is for cowitnessing with the EOTech sights. Any SIR with the ARMS #22 M68 ring will cowitness with the SIR and #40 BUIS. If you want to mount it further forward on a bilevel SIR, get either the raised rail attachemnt for the bilevel portion or get a spacer for the Aimpoint ring. |
