I recently purchased a RRA? upper varmint. I'm looking for markings for RRA identifications on the reciever. The handgaurd looks like it has been swapped to a Bushmaster style one With Long slots. Is this what comes on a RRA?

Both Bushmaster and RRA get their free floating handguards from Yankee Hill Machine.

BTW any markings on the upper receiver will, more than likely, only be from the forge where the forgings came from, not who finished and sold it.  There are only so many forges that make AR receivers and they will mostly all come from those sources.  Except for the barrel, An upper from Bushmaster and one from RRA could conceivably use the exact same components considering they probably outsource from mostly the same places for receivers and small parts.

RRA doesn't mark their upper receivers.  The ones I have seen have a keyhole/with 3 dots forgeing mark on the right side.  But, so does the bushie flat tops.

RRA's aluminum tubes are fluted (but the fluting doesn't go all the way through the tube) and knurled.  Their quad rails are the Yankee Hill models.

Wrong.... the keyhole marking is Cerro Metal Products... my JT Distributing kit has the keyhole, too.. RRA uppers aren't additionally marked
