FFLs generally don't order uppers, because everyone wants a different configuration, so they have to be custom-built, and FFLs only receive a 10% discount off of retail. That isn't enough margin to make any money by discounting the price compared to BM's prices. Wholesalers DO buy uppers, but only a few configurations. If one of those is what you want, THEN your dealer could get a good price for it, because the wholesaler-to-dealer price will be much better, but chances are, it won't be what you want. -Troy |
