Anyone know where I can get a new set of handguards in the A1 style(you know the triangular tapered shaped ones).  I just love these and think they fit a hand better that any of the other ones out there.  I do know that they have an increased chance of the gas tube being bent but maybe there is someone making custom reinforced ones.  I have just bought a RRA Varmint 24" SS 1:8 and I am waiting for it to come in.  While I'm waiting, I've decided to design my next gun and build a parts list.  I am going to build a left handed (as I am Left handed) rifle with the A1 handguards and buttstock with hogue grips and a 20" SS barrel.  I figure it will look unique and I like the way the A1 handguards feel in my hand.

I recently (last week) bought a set of the A1 handguards from Gun Parts Corp. They were in new condition and did not have any cracks or chips.
