Looking at their web catyalog it looks like they have some really nice rifles at competitive prices. Does anybody have experience with their AR15s? I'm really just trying to compare them to Bushmaster. What is their overall reputation in the AAR15 business? Thank you. |

I picked up one of their uppers last year. Came with a non-spec bolt group (bolt was actually reversed, causing some strange ejection behavior!) but was promptly replaced by Clint. The upper (a Predator) was pretty much a parts gun; Krieger barrel, Badger gas block, float tube and tac latch. The price at the time for the upper was a deal although the complete rifle was $700 more! There are those that have doubts about Fulton's custom smithing quality. My upper is well made (once the first bolt was replaced) and shoots .5 MOA no problem, but its' a parts gun, not a custom job. They are friendly enough and seem to always have a minute to talk. Jeez, Clint spent 40 minutes talking about different barrel making techniques and materials once. I'd say Fulton started out pricey and is just getting more so. However I also think they are a valuable member of the AR community offering good services, parts, knowledge and quality. I think they are also more accessable than the custom smiths the benchrest shooters go on about. All and all getting a Fulton is pretty much risk free. They offer a 30 day return policy and will stand by it. If you like their specialty rifles I'd say go for it. Then again for a standard rifle or carbine its' hard to go wrong with Bushmaster or RRA. |

Good stuff...competitive prices...I think excellent customer service. Plus, all the points described earlier. You get what you pay for, and the more I do this stuff the more it rings true. I've only bought parts to build my rifles from Fulton, but friends who have had smith work done by them swear by them as well(mostly M1A stuff). Only bitch is slow turnaround time, but, in this business, name a gunsmith who isn't swamped and slow. |

I've bought Garand parts and barrels from them, good experience and good barrels. I wish more people had feedback about Fulton's AR stuff. Their Liberator II upper is EXACTLY what I want in my next upper, but it's not chrome lined! I have a hard time looking past that issue, but for all those features for only $599, I might have to. I just have to remind myself how nice those Garand barrels were. http://www.fulton-armory.com/GEN_II.htm#LiberatorUppers |

I've got a Liberator Carbine that I love. I bought it last year when they still came with the Jewell trigger. I didn't use it as much as I would have liked to (278 rnds to be exact) but it always worked like a charm and it's more accurate than I am. BTW, the Jewell trigger is worth the extra $$$. It's VERY responsive with almost no creep and a sharp, clean break. Clint was big help in picking out the rifle and continues to answer any questions I have promptly. I would not hesitate to buy from him again. |
