[ARCHIVED THREAD] - M4 Stock?

I have a two position stock that has metal parts and a plastic stock. The lever is the coated type seen on AR Carbines. No markings that I can see.
Is it a gunshow special or a transition XM177 to M4 stock?

Please give a little more detail. Are you saying you have a Vinyl covered aluminum stock with a plastic latching lever or do you have a plastic stock with the metal lever? I have the plastic levers in stock should you want to switch them out. BTW. Yours is the first I have heard of mixed parts. Not a typical factory setup.

Plastic stock, metal(coated)lever. I doubt I will change anything.

Yours is the first I have ever heard of. Colt doe's some strange things, but somehow this one seems to stretch the limit of factory boundries.

First off, what model weapon is this stock attached to?

Second is, do you have any pic's you might post?
