Hi,

I am looking to purchase an RRA Tactical Entry Carbine. I have a quick question...

Is the Chamber M16 Specs or is it SAMMI .223? I want to shoot mostly 5.56 surplus ammo.

Thanks in advance.

Also, for those of you who have handled these ARs as well as other manufacturers, how would you rate the RRAs?

nice choice, same rifle im saving up for right now, word of advice upgrade to chrome lined not moly barrel, they do offer it. as for the chamber according to the website the chamber on that model is .223/5.56 nato, so 5.56 surplus should be perfectly fine, cant hurt to wait for a someone who has one to answer this or simply call RRA and ask. careful though, the chamber changes depending on the model with RRA, like their standard A2 is listed as .223 wylde

Rock River makes a nice gun. When buying, specify that you want one with a chrome lined chamber and bore. Those will come with a milspec chamber. If you do not specify, you will likely get the unlined chamber and bore. Those barrels have the .223 chambers. As of now, there is no markings on either barrel so it is hard to tell just by looking at them. I do hope Rock River starts marking their barrels soon.

Thanks for the replies... One more quick question... Where to buy from? Can I order directly from RRA? I would like it configured with the Car stock, non-collapsible and with the standard handguards.

Thanks in advance.
