For Clear-O builds, don't sleep on the Matrix Arms "Gold" uppers. Not thermal fit but very nice machining w like a blasted finish Hella cheap too like $50-60 w/coupon This is Matrix upper with BAD Lower + Buffer Tube, Clear Reptilia, DDC Blemula Mk16 9.3, 10.3 pencil barrel and SA AGB. Got an ARC Fire, this rail (although an odd length) and the PSA blem upper. Attached File Keeping this thread alive.  It's a 13.5" rail. It like it, sort of a hybrid of the qual rail and mlok aesthetic. But the length is a bit odd. Probably do a 14.5" but we'll see. Would like a stainless or bead blasted barrel but the goal is to keep this build cheap. Under $500 would be the goal. |

And... unfortunately, back out of stock. The one I snagged a few weeks back is actually a pretty nice receiver. I found no machining flaws. Just some slightly uneven anodizing. |

Tanodized parts on my latest "Fifty Shades" build include: CMT DRT 13" (dark reddish brown) UTG Pro buffer tube in Bronze (dark brownish red) Badger Condition One 1.70" T2 mount in Tan (light/pale tanodized, almost akin to what others market as "clear") Aero Breach small lever charging handle in Kodiak Brown (medium golden tan) Battle Arms Development EMR mag release in FDE (standard golden tan) Unknown maker tanodized dust cover (also standard golden tan) Duramag 20 rounder in Bronze (medium rose gold)

   The 13.7" is just a mix of spare parts I had. Not purpose built at all. Lower receiver is a T.A.C. tan anodized. The Badger mount and Geissele Mk4 are also tan anodized. Upper receiver is a B.A.D. clear anodized. Leaning towards a Reptilia clear Puller as well. Don't kick me out of the thread The FCD parts aren't tan anodized but cerakoted. It seems like FCD is doing less anodizing right now and more cerakoting. Oh, I rattle-canned the black nitrided castle nut to save $10.  HRF flared magwell added. |

I had added it to the cart on my phone, put my info in, and then had to go do something else. The next day I picked up where I left off and hit "checkout" to see what tax/shipping was going to be. Guess I forgot where I was in the process because "checkout," means "complete purchase," and that's how I ended up with another flared magwell  But it's all good. The Parker Mountain Magwells are metal, tan-anodized parts that would be more apropos for this thread... But they are like $100. |

| Anyone know of any dealers that have some tano stripped lowers in stock? I've been looking at grabbing one of Bad Attitude's stripped lowers in anodized FDE, but they've been out of stock for a while. People are asking stupid money for Geissele DDC lowers right now, and I don't need a set. Just the lower. Even Gunbroker searches only turned up cerakoted lowers and Geissele stripped DDC lowers for $400+. Tanodized shit is a challenge to find sometimes... |

 Semi spare parts build is coming together. @LostBoy7n6 Your page owning post above has tempted me to get another tan/ral HK grip, but holy moly, they ain't cheap. The KAC will do for now. All the parts above, minus the FCD goodies, stock, and HRF funnel, were purchased years ago. Clear and tan anodized receivers definitely seem to have hit a dry spell. Centurion was doing some. Don't know if they're in stock. I plan to get a tano B.A.D. lower with the kitty logo, but I might have to settle for a black one. |

They're $200. They restocked the day after I purchased a BAD clear ano lower lol. |

Oh yeah, I've got notifications set up for DDC lowers when they come back in stock on several sites, including PA. But I've had good luck with Bad Attitude receivers in the past and one of their lowers would be just fine if I can't get a Geissele. |

Think i paid like $45 each for the v7, HKparts.net BF sale last year. Just saw one listed for $75 whoa! HK Grips don't even come with a grip screw,lol. Been wanting a few of those G$ Coyote A2 ,nice builds. Reminds me I wanted to get a spray can of Rapco RAL8000. I could be wrong but think the Centurion Clear uppers came out too Grey on their most recent batch and they decided against selling them? |

Might have to swap out the Geissele Mk4 for the 13" Reptilia.  I have a 13" Geissele Mk2 in the spare parts drawer. Difficult to justify another handguard when I have a bunch just laying around.
