Bastard-ized 8" 300 BO build. I've decided to whittle down to 2 AR's. One 5.56 and one 300 BO. I know, blasphemy right? I'm into guitar stuff right now.. guns are just sitting in the safe. I'm sure I can make do with what I end up with no big deal. Anywho, the Kodiak brown Aero lower, Scalarworks Ltd edition clear ano irons, Radian clear ano ambi safety and ?? tube will stay. Why not.

Anyone making a tan/fde/brown scope that a) isnt a LPVO or B) over $1000? Seems there used to be a bunch and now not really. I like things to match and have a tanodized gun i need a scope to match. |

Attached File Well I looked everywhere for a Kodiak Brown Upper to match my M5 lower from Aero. Even grabbed a drum for funnies. Maybe Aero will pick up production at some point. Looks like this project is shelved for the time being.  Snooze ya lose I guess. |

| I'm piecing together a tano build right now and looking for an anodized FDE lower and buffer tube. Grabbed one of the Matrix Arms uppers and it is a very light gold/yellow, so I'm looking for a darker FDE lower. Also looking for an A5 length tube. Kratos seems to be the only anodized option, but I've seen those look gold. I'll take any recommendations. |

| KAK has a Blem sale on their complete FDE ano lowers for 125. Pretty good deal. I don’t have any of their FDE ano stuff but it appears to be very similar to aero KodiaK brown, so it would definitely be a darker FDE for your lower. AR15 discounts also has Kodiak brown stag lowers on sale for 70 I believe, also a good budget option. I’ve been trying for a long time to locate a good medium FDE receiver set like the Coyote color on the anodized sig spears but I can’t find it anywhere, seems the only way to get that is find a used FN FDE ano set or get lucky with G$ DDC. |

Attached File Found an upper! Another member heard of my woe and forwarded me someone selling one on GB. Buffer tube shouldn't be too hard. But handguard will be a different story.....if I can just find an FDE anodized rail that'd be fantastic, quad rail would be cool but not opposed to mlok. Probably going to do like a shorty 308. |

Im waiting to snag one. In the meantime I picked up a MSP lower in clear anodized. Not overly pleased with the color or the way the anodizing turned out. It's a bit on the gray side and more blemishes than I'd like but I'm just being picky |

I'm still on the fence with the dyed furniture and rail covers. *Griffin Armament Terra Brown: Upper Lower Receiver extension. *Daniel Defense: RIS III FDE Handguard 14.5" Mid-Length with P/W Surefire FH BCG In the shade  In the bright sun light (upper and lower look lighter than they actually are)

The upper looks a lot like DDC before Geissele switched to the bronze stuff. I miss those days. |

I mocked it up originally to see how it looked and my first thought was, a Razor would look great on here. So, I brought out a different rifle I have with one on it and put them together. It was a great match, so I ordered another one for it. I loved the DDC on the MK8 rail I have. So when I ordered a Super Duty MOD 1 upper, I assumed it would be close to it. Nope, not even close. The rail color matches my Aero M4E1 Pro Kodiak Brown lower receiver almost exactly, but the upper receiver is a weird color variation. I was a little disappointed, but I guess that's the FDE roulette game we play. |
