I suppose starting a war with a 1903 and going to a garand would actually make a bigger difference. |

What about a rifle I built I saw on deployment, bought the upper and took it on my second deployment?
The motivation for my build was because we had a Seal Team spend a few days at out Cop(Shkin). I saw the CPOs MK12, after checking it out I knew that was my next build. After getting home, Raptor22 saw I was looking for a MK12 upper and gave me a really good deal on one of the three he had. 2003, pre turn in Armorer inspection.

First day of 2nd deployment in Afghanistan 2007 
Current pic, she still is plenty accurate, but over the years and who know how many rounds its a 1-1.5 MOA rifle now. It really needs a new barrel, I just dont have the heart to swap it out. After all these years I finally got the almost correct can for it. Years ago I sold the rings and BUISs to some clone guys, finally went back and put her back to 80% correct condition. Still have the old scope, its on my SR25.
