I am looking at getting a Delta team tactical upper. It has a 1x8 wylde 416 stainless Barrel by ER Shaw and Anderson upper. Has anyone had any dealings with this particular company and their uppers?

I will tell you this much. Do your homework and Google search them. Plenty of threads on here also.

From my personal experience, shit parts and rotten CS.

If you want suggestions for reputable vendors, post a link here regarding what you are looking at, several here can point you in the right direction.

THIS! ^^^

LOTS of bad experiences from members here.

You have been warned.

Google the address for Delta Team Tactical, then Google the address for Davidson Defense. They check to the address on this sign....

They have affordable stuff.
They NEED QC!!

Ordered a complete 7.5" 9mm upper minus bolt and ch on 7/25.

Finally got it 8/11 with the wrong barrel (4.5").

I received a 2nd wrong barrel (8.5") on 8/14.

Finally got the right barrel (7.5") on 8/17.

Still have to return their 2 barrels.

Ordered from them because it was $149 for the complete 9mm upper with 7.5" barrel.

That was what I wanted all along, just the barrel.
Couldn't seem to find a 7.5" 9mm anywhere.
I could only find longer barrels for more money and then send out to cut, crown, and thread.

They build to order so it takes a while to hear from them.

Does a company operating multiple "Brands" under different names sound familiar???

There was a company out of St. Paul, MN that was known as....

Hesse Arms
Vulcan Arms
Blackthorne Arms

And we know how well THAT worked out.

I think I've run across maybe 2 out of 10 people that were actually happy with DTT.

My experience was total shit, I'd not give them a dime ever again.

Cheap crap, misrepresented merchandise, and the WORST CS that I've ever dealt with.

Worse than an Ebay purchase shipping from China.

You have helped me make up my mind I am going to steer clear of them. Thanks for your help.

Even if the quality and price were comparable to others on the market (which it sounds like thats a hard no anyways), that name .

I have picked up small stuff from them and never had any problems, but I would not buy a upper from them, not with the prices now a days as well as all of the good quality uppers that show up in the EE section here.

It's funny, I just got their email ad for Toolcraft nitride BCG's for $38.99.  That doesn't make sense for a quality BCG.  I've never ordered from them and probably won't do so.  They have lots of known, name brand items, but due to comments here it makes you leery.

Do not buy. Too many quality vendors out there nowadays to risk it.

From all other experiences I hate to post mine... ordered multiple times, no major issues and minor issues were answered fairly easily/quickly.  Haven't bought any complete uppers or anything though.
