I have a Noveske Mk18 upper (10.5" upper, carbine gas, RIS II, the usual). Gunsmith is putting a govnah on it for me because there is no way in hell I am 1) removing a loctite'd suppressor mount or 2) dealing with a pinned gas block.
Gunsmith is telling me that the govnah itself fits under the RIS II just fine, but the spring sticking out does not fit. Is there a workaround for this? I haven't seen anyone else with this issue although I know govnah + RIS II has been done plenty of times. |
