I use a NiB BCG in one of my 7.62x39 builds that runs a lot of corrosive ammo, since it has to be cleaned after every trip. Ballistol is the preferred lube for corrosive cause it's water soluable. I drop it in a bucket of hot soapy water and the only thing I wipe down is the firing pin, that's it. Boom, done. I do the same for the phosphate BCG in my 5.45x39 and it cleans just as easily.

Nitride would probably work just as well. From AIM it's only $10 more for Nitride and $20 more for NiB. The NiB does go from a silver to bronze color pretty quickly but it's still light enough to see if there's any carbon build up.

Or look in to a sonic cleaner, my LGS has one they use on cleaning up trade-ins and I've seen what a great job it did on an old crusty 1911 I traded in.
