It's not the clone status that will make it a great rifle. It's the quality of the barrel and the ammo. Once that is covered the rest is up to you.
Even rack grade rifles will shoot match grade ammo very well. Some people think they can build a premium rifle and still shoot M193 or M855 and get great groups. Not going to happen. Build a rifle that fits your budget spending every penny you can on the barrel. White Oak Armament makes great barrels for under $300. Noveske, Rainier Arms, Shilen, Compass Lake Engineering, Wilson Combat, Larue and at least a half dozen other barrel makers sell top tier barrels. |
