| Just picked up a stag lower and upper. Shop owner said that the upper was also from stag. Forge marking is a diamond with a "B" inside and has laser engraved t markings as well as M4 feedramps. Also interesting is the upper has an "IM" mark on the rear of the rear takedown lug. Can anyone verify these markings and does anyone know if this is an actual stag upper? thanks. |

That forge mark means the forging came from Mueller Brass, and they have supplied Stag, amongst other brands, so it could be. Stag usually marks their barrels and should be a dead giveaway (if we're talking about a complete upper). Negative, its a stripped upper. The marking that's really odd is the engraved marking on the rear of the takedown lug. |
