I don't buy complete rifles, usually build them.
I've been on a never ending search for a Sabre Defense Thundercat lower for years now, they only came on complete rifles so... they are tricky to find and when you do they are pricey. Long story short, a friend of my father who is in his 70's (dad is 71) wanted to thin out his "plastic rifles". I got in touch with him and was able to snag a NIB Sabre Defense mid length and TA31RCOM4 acog today. I'm stoked. The rifle has not been fired and the Acog was still in the molle pouch. Finally have a hometown lower... DSC_7437 by The Dorsal Fin, on Flickr

Paid $1200 for everything.

Maybe it's the Walmart deals, or that I'm a cheap bastard that wants something for nothing. But about $1200 is the most I would give. Especially if that's a military issue acog. Those are worth half of what a legit one is.
But to a sane person that's a really good deal |

Now that you're done robbing the seller of that rifle. Go rob you one of these $200 high end GDI mounts for that ACOG for $40, color me jealous, and you're welcome.

The awesomeness of that lower almost drowned out the bad vibes put out by the Mako grip. Almost. If you're just gonna throw away that grip you can send it to me I love the mako grips.I moved it and the carry handle over to the 11.5, which is now a KISS carbine for the 87th time Ordered a 14.5 barrel too, I'll have one of my YHM mounts pinned on it and will toss the complete barrel assembly on the EE |
