I have a couple rifles that the set screw loosened up and the collar just kind of floats around on the barrel. I dont shoot them without the can and the step in the barrel holds them in place when the can is on. Ive also heard an old myth that the set screw affects accuracy. |

No other Precision AR I've owned has been this far out so consistently. Hits at 1000m and 5 for 5 rapid fire at 800m This rifle fucks. I don't think I ever got any impacts at 1000m with my Mod 1. NSW Recce got 800m a few times but never consistent like the H with MK5. My friend with the Mod 1 was only .2 mil flatter than me out to 1000m. Both shooting pretty hot hand loads. He had about 70fps on me shooting 77's while I was shooting 75's. Once I switched to factory AAC 77's shit got ugly and couldn't impact past 800m and even 800m was not as consistent. Used the chrono and the ES was almost 100 and velocity was 2644 vs my hand load which was 2690 and es is about 20-25. Gonna save those for a different rifle and load up more 75's. Barrel is a bison. |

This is my third one and never had an issue. Putting this on the H has extended my range and ability to call my misses at ranges past 600m where there is basically no back stop so splash is hard to find. Adjust the diopter correctly and run it on 16x. Eyebox is fine. No CA on the three I've owned. It's light. It's compact. Turrets are great. Glass is great. Only downside is it's a little toilet paper tube feeling on max mag but what do you expect out of such a compact 18x optic. |

First time shooting the Mod H, nothing special about the build, I must admit shooting it seemed very pleasant, even with the ace stock, was very pleasantly surprised. BA barrel so nothing to write home about with regards the group size, about a moa with black hills 262 and their tmks Attached File |

I had a BA in mine that wouldn't group for shit. The only saving grace of that barrel is that it shot bulk ammo just as well as match. |

Figured I'd bring this thread back to life with a question for those in the know. I'm looking to resurrect my Mod H. Does anybody know what readily accessible spray paint is the closest match to the factory PRI FDE forearm? Mine is the natural version (with some OD stripes at the moment). I'll post a photo once it's back together (unless everyone moved on from the H, lol). Thanks in advance.. |
