hello, long time stalker first time poster i ordered a g2s trigger and i followed a youtube video on installing it and i think i did it right but the hammer won't catch on the trigger its like its stuck in fire if i put a upper on it i cant even rack it any ideas on how to fix?

Is the disconnector spring in there??

your hammer pin is not all the way in

eta: depending which way you put it in, the hammer pin has to pass the little d-clip that goes on the boss of the hammer. the clip will hold the hammer pin in place. it looks like you may not have pushed passed that clip, and if its not all the way through, your hammer will bind.

I just looked at mine, that is not a geissele G2S trigger and disconnector

eta: see the hook that is part of the trigger bow? the hammer catches on that, it looks like your trigger and disconnector are mil-spec, hammer may be geissele. where did you buy it?

As stated above, that is not a G2S trigger.  Looks like a Geissele hammer but you never know.  Does the side of the trigger have a G on it like in the picture?
