It all depends on which models and/or configurations you are comparing and when they were made. In addition, accuracy can have a lot to do with the shooter.

I have a Colt 6721, which is the  16 inch heavy barrel profile model, for about a year now. I was shocked how accurate it is even with plain old Federal xm193 black box i have shot some golf ball size groups at 100yds. I also own an older Bushmaster with relatively new Bushmaster M4 profile barrel. Its good for minute of grapefruit at 100yds if I do my part. Both are 1 in 9 twist barrels. Will try and find some targets later and post pics. Hope this helps.

No optics just firing from the bench with rifle stabilized on a bag. Here is a pic of a target. I should have left it with just the groups in the center but the range was busy and I wanted fire some from the kneeling position.
