So I found one of these locally...it has a Kreiger barrel, but it is configured with keymod + LMT sopmod.
Is this worth the buy in keymod, or better to hold out for mlok version with the MOE stock? I already have several other nice toys (LMT, Barrett, etc.), including a midlength midwest industries minute man that has a CHF FN barrel. Is this rifle worth the upgrade? Should I wait for the mlok version? -Freq |

Do you like mlok or keymod better? Personally I like the sopmod stock so that would get my vote. I have a mod 1 LPR and can tell you they are sweet shooters. No one can ever quantify how well the LPRs shoot. I'd love to see it because I'm debating the LPR and a custom build for a SPR-ish rifle. |

Most have gotten in this area with 77gr, some have done better. I have heard from a member on this forum that his Mk12 Mod 1 clone shot better than his LPR and that's why he sold the LPR. I personally regret selling mine and I have considered picking up another but the allure of a Mk12 clone build is on the table as well. OP, if it's there and in front of you I'd go for it because the LPR is a rare KAC rifle regardless of the new model just now hitting the shelves. The Sopmod would be a big selling point imho and if you don't like it you can easily sell it for $125 and put that towards whichever stock you want. |

I love the LMT stock, it's my favorite. I suppose the decision comes to:
Will keymod not hold it's value/be obsoleted given current industry projections on mlok adoption? Will the rifle really shoot appreciably better than the midlength CHF keymod rifle I already have (Midwest Minuteman), which has a bad safety lever, forged billet lower, B5 stock, etc. To be honest, I really don't care about the prestige of the knights name on my rifle, I really only care about performance. -Freq |

I highly doubt I could drive any gun better than .5-.75 MOA... I'm debating between this and an MSTN custom upper - WES knows how to build guns that can shoot... |
