I've nearly completed my first AR build, just need to add a muzzle brake or flash hider and a couple accessories. Last night I tested it out to make sure it chambered and cycled the ammo, which it did just find. The only question/issue it had was that it actually put a small indention in the primer when I chambered the rounds. I've not noticed this before on my other AR and I want to make sure the gun is safe when chambering a round. Just curious if this is common or if there is something out of spec on this build?

As for performance, I was very please with the grouping as I was just shooting from a rest.

normal with a free floating firing pin. I wouldn't do it over and over though, as it could kill the primer.
