I have been looking at getting a Colt 6920 whats is considered fair market price for a brand new in the box complete rifle? Most of the shops here in my area are asking like 1200 to 1500 bucks I know that awfully high. I went to one local dealer and he told me he could get me one for 989.00 plus tax. While I was there another gentleman came in and asked about one also so they are gonna order a couple of them. The shop owner told me even if I decide I dont want one its no big deal because it will sell in a matter of a few days so its win win for him either way. I also looked into a complete BCM lower and upper and it comes out about the same price after shipping and transfer fee.
Thanks in advance Bryan |

Some of the ones with the muddy girl or wildfire or whatever bs they did to the stocks are s little cheaper. Likely because others like me think they look like ass and they aint selling...
I just got my 3rd 6920 from buds. The stripped model with fsb. I have about $875 in it after sourcing rear sight and hg and trigger guard |
| You can still find them online for $850-$900 if you look around, particularly the ones with hydro dipped(or whatever they are) Magpul furniture that were mentioned. I've seen a few people say they bought the new Magpul SL editions for $900-$950 recently. 6920 and 6720 were as low as $750-$800 a few months ago. A lot of shops are taking advantage of high demand right now, IIRC MSRP is $950 or $999.If you go the BCM route I'd just buy one of the uppers with BCG and charging handle and put it on a PSA complete lower, or build your own lower with a BCM LPK if you want. Should be able to keep it around $800-$850 with a decent stock. |

Go to slickguns and do a search for Colt 6920. The standard model appears to be out of stock everywhere, but there are some of those gay furniture and no furniture OEM models available here and there. Slickguns shows what all the going prices are. I have yet to find one on this site in stock |

OEM 1 or 2 is hard to beat. I have considered going this route but cant find them in stock anywhere The vendor who can't be named closely related to the site that can't be named has them in stock for $725. This is really the way to go since you can get take-off M4 handguards, stocks & trigger guards dirt cheap. Even better, you'd likely not have to pay sales tax. Well you would if you're in Ohio. There's no reason to pay retail price. |
| I was looking for one last month and had a hard time finding one. I finally found one at a shop with the wildfire furniture, wich I'm not a huge fan of, but I bought it anyway as it's easy to change out. I ended up paying 899 for it. They also happened to have a lightly used 6920 that I impulse bought and I paid 725 for that. |
| 6920's were plentiful at the $800 level plus transfer for the 12 months ending this past Sept. Right now, they are tough to find for $1K plus xfer. Keep in mind that historically they have sold for as high as $1200 for 18+ month long periods of time. If you can get one for $1K, go for it as the price is likely to slowly climb through election time, and then spike if/when a D wins. |
| They are pretty much out of stock everywhere. GunWatcher and SlickGun lists low prices but they are all out of stock if you proceed to the web page. I believe many retailers and pulled their inventory and holding them for anticipated price gouging. The only rifles you will find at the moment are those listed for over $1000. Prepare for panic buying or profit buying for the rest of the year. |

Sell the Magpul handguard if you don't like it or buy furniture for the OEM's and you're pretty much set for a decent price. |

Not to mention, there are plenty of other brands in stock. I bet the problem is at Colt, where they are addressing their bankruptcy issues and concentrating on their military contract. |

I know of several retailers who have pulled their inventory only to increase prices. The only AR's you will find will be $1000 plus. Brand doesn't matter. Try to purchase any listed for under $1000. They will report out of stock. |

Hell, one of my local dealers is advertising he received 60 of the new S&W Sport II with more on the way, at about $650. Another local dealer has sub-$1000 Armalite, FNs, and Bushmasters. And sure, they may be out of stock at many places. That is because those are the ones most people go for first. It isn't because dealers hold them just so they can raise the price. |

| I just bought a 6920 OEM 2 yesterday for $799, $812 shipped from https://www.carolinasporting.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=2993. There are 3 left as of this post... |

I just bought a new 6920 Raptor for $850.00, but my LGS said he was having a hard time getting them. What in the world id a "6920 Raptor"??? Do you have pictures of this thing you can post?....Never heard of that before and Colt has nothing with such a name. If you can find them, the "OEM-1" model is the way to go and it's definitely the best 'bang for your buck' out of the Colt stable. All you need to worry about is purchasing the trigger guard, stock and handguard/rail of your choice and you're set. |
