I have a couple of mystery bolts and barrels. I know they aren't junk brands but they likely are not the same. Just because I have the gauges, I figured I would pull the ejector and check. On the GO, it locks up no problem. On "no go", push the BCG in and it feels like it "locks up" yet the Bcg is sticking out 1/4" from the back of the receiver. Because I got these gauges a long time ago and never used them. Is this what I'm looking for on the no go? Bcg feels like it locks up and clicks yet has another 1/4 to go? Thanks. By the way, they are 556 gauges in a 556 chambered barrel.
