| Not exactly retro, yet I'm getting one. It'll go on my 601Nodak perfectly after refinish as an additional upper in 7,62x39.http://www.andersonrifles.com/product/upper-receiver-with-no-forward-assist-but-has-ejection-port-cover/ |

That's a hell of a deal compared to what M1S and RRA charge for one! And those are 9mm uppers that have to be drilled. Been that route and the rail (M1S) was offset to one side. Pretty disappointing. Got two of these on the way...hope they live up to my expectations. |

Does anybody know what type of ramps these have? I would assume M4 type cuts, but I'll send an email if nobody is certain. I asked a few days ago when I stumbled upon them. They said they do have M4 feed ramps. I bought two and think I might put together a couple flat top A1's using those McKay pencil barrels I bought a few years back. |

Got two of these on the way...hope they live up to my expectations. The one I got from M1S was good ... but ADCO drilled the hole off center. I couldn't even fully seat the BCG. But they made it right. Sent them back the M1S one and they sent back an RRA that was properly drilled. |

Can't put a dust cover on those. Quoted:

PSA has them $10 cheaper Can't put a dust cover on those. I went back and looked, O had assumed these were Amderson's as they are selling Anderson lowers for $39.00 Sorry about that |

I feel like I made a difference. Happy thanksgiving, fellow aficionados. I thought I was one of a very few which wanted this pattern. Its funny how often the request for these come up in AR discussions. Kudos to Anderson Rifles for releasing them and to you spending my cash I had a 9mm upper I drilled - worked great, but the rail was off center. Bugged me a lot. One of these will have home on a uber clean modern build and the other will be re coated in Norrells grey and matched up to my remaining A1 lower.. |

Thanks for the heads up, I ended up buying one as well.
I plan to do some type of a Retro hybrid shooter. I'm trying to land a 20" barrel but I want to locate something that would shoot above an average 556 grouping. So I'm open to suggestions on a barrel choice. I'm also looking for a good quality single stage trigger. |
Mine are due in on Tuesday. Kind of forgot about them with all the crap going on here in So Cal...daughters school is just 2 miles from the "Redlands" house of Terrorists. Other things on my mind... Drove out Wednesday evening just to hang out with her and her roommates.

I got mine today and it has a brass deflector bump, unlike the totally smooth upper that's shown in the picture. I wanted one like the photo so have contacted Anderson customer service to see if they have any without. It has very shallow M4 cuts for the person who was asking. Anderson's stock photo on top, the one I received on the bottom. That sucks. I hope they can replace it. And I hope I'm not disappointed when my order shows up tomorrow. |

Their listing says "ejection port cover" - I can't believe they would screw the description up that badly and the reviews don't say anything negative. I'm getting mine Wednesday am...really hope it is correct. I gots plans for them! |

Quoted: That's not cool, No place for the port cover door either. I hope I do not have to return mine. Doh! I was pissed about the bump and didn't even notice that, which was a major part of the description. My order was for the correct part (along with the dust cover, pin, spring and clip), so I guess someone just grabbed the wrong one off the shelf. Looks like I received this - http://www.andersonrifles.com/product/lightweight-sport-upper-these-upper-receivers-do-not-have-forward-assist-or-ejection-port-cover-capabilities/ Rather than this - http://www.andersonrifles.com/product/upper-receiver-with-no-forward-assist-but-has-ejection-port-cover/ Hopefully they'll get back to me quickly and fix it. |

Quick response from Customer Service at Anderson. They are sending the correct upper out today along with a return label for the incorrect upper. I don't think I could ask for a better response. Woo! Glad to hear it! Mine just shipped, so hopefully they got the warehouse straightened out. |

Picked up mine today and they are everything I expected. I installed one and the other is with a A1 lower I have been saving for a special retro inspired germ of an idea.
Picture to show how it looks - forgive me that the only thing retro on this carbine is the stock (N1) and the slick sided upper. Been wanting to do this for a long time.... " />

I got the following email from Anderson this afternoon. Doesn't seem to be any mention of this on their web site, however.
We have taken stripped upper and lowers receiver offline to catch up. Parts should become available again 12/18/2015 for purchase. Please note deliveries are taking 8-15 days after receipt of order. If you have any questions please email support at : [email protected] Thank you for your continued support we are working 24/7 to get caught up. |

I plan on doing something similar with the back end, but will probably go with a lightweight barrel and Colt carbine hand guards. |
