You already bought a carbine length gas tube, but the barrel you list is mid-length gas. Either you listed the wrong barrel or bought the wrong gas tube. Either way a gas tube is cheap.

Same with the carbine length handguard. It will fall short of covering the gass block of a middy barrel by about 2". If it were me, i would stick with a mid-length gas system on a rifle being set up for static shooting. Good luck with the build. Looking forward to pics and range report.

Thanks guys. I wanted to stick to Carbine length for now maybe the next build go longer.  I fixed the mistake it was from a previous sheet I made.

You list a PRS stock and a carbine receiver extension kit.  The PRS uses rifle receiver extension, rifle buffer and rifle spring.

Why the PRS with a cheaper CMMG barrel?  Normally if your utilizing a PRS your looking for better accuracy than the CMMG barrel can provide.

Your spending a lot of money on the Black Rain BCG.  Why not get an AIM and allocate the extra hundred into higher quality parts elsewhere in the rifle?

That's a very tall bipod.  Most people are better served by 6-9" length or 9-12" length bipods.  Obviously that won't work if you want to shoot from a sitting position, but those heights are good for prone and bench shooting.  I've read good things about the new UTG Recon 360 bipods.  Several people have compared them to the ATLAS, you might want to check them out.

Is the Guntec rail free floated?  If you want accuracy I would recommend a floated rail.  I've got a few Chinese rails that aren't bad for about the same price.  Of course Chinese rails tend to be heavy.  Midwest Industries has a lot of good quality lightweight options but they're about $100 more.  I recommend a longer rail than 7", you can put a 12" rail on a carbine or mid gas gun, most free float rails have no problems going over a low profile gas block.

If I was buying a barrel today, I would go this route: http://www.laruetactical.com/taste-of-texas-sale?sort=popular

They're about half off from their normal price.

Thank you for your reply! I honestly was just basing the stock off of the adjustability and the looks, I hadn't taken into consideration the functionality.  A friend had referred me to the BCG and honestly it's not too much money for what I would be getting.  I will have to look into that barrel and I'll be sure to check out the one you mentioned..  The Bipod is just a wish part right now and on there just in case too but I'll defiantly check into what they have when the time comes. I was still undecided on the length of the rail and yes it is free floating but I was leaning more towards the shorter aspect of things.

I prefer a 12" handguard because it lets you grip it farther forward for better comfort and control. It also lets you extend the front sight post out when shooting with iron sights which helps with precision.  Generally if my barrel is longer than 12" it gets a 12" or longer hand guard.  If it's shorter then I try to go with the longest hand guard that doesn't cover the barrel - which generally comes out to 1" shorter than the barrel length.

This is a lot of cheap, mismatched parts that don't really go together well. It also seems like you haven't quite grasped the basics enough to be building a rifle.

Have you considered just buying a factory rifle and swapping out a few parts that you don't like?

I'm in the process of re-looking everything up, what I have now is different from before and I appreciate the input.  I wanted to build it myself rather than buy one off the shelf.  Other than what I had already purchased everything is still up for debate and any advice is welcome.  The gas tube I had purchased can be saved for my next rifle if I decide or am steered in a different length direction, no one says this is going to be my only rifle
